Frustration as an important mechanism of psychosomatic disorders in bronchial asthma

Bronchial asthma (BA) is a psychosomatic disease. The most important factor is the frustration and emotional tension that simultaneously exacerbate both mental changes and somatic disorders. Improving mental vulnerability (increasing the number of frustrating situations - obstacles and constraints) in asthma leads to disharmony in the development of personality. With the increase in the severity and duration of the asthma disease the anxiety-depressive symptoms initially developing on the frustration situation, are complemented by alexithymia, hypochondriasis and asthenia. The more a similar mechanism is attached, the harder the person fills up the psychological and somatic reserves.
