Advances in the Chemistry of Unsaturated Adamantane Derivatives (A Review)

Abstract: This review discusses various issues related to the synthesis of unsaturatedadamantane derivatives, to the development of novel methods for theirpreparation, and to the polymerization reactions. Furthermore, we appraised thepotential of quantum-chemical calculations for investigating the electronicstructure of adamantane derivatives and for elucidating the mechanisms for theirchemical and catalytic transformations.
