The article is devoted to the geopolitical situation in the Balkans and the \r\nhistorical development of integration processes of Western Balkan countries with the world \r\nleaders — EU, USA, Russia, China. The authors consider the problem in international and \r\nregional contexts. Particular attention is paid to the prospects for the development of a hybrid \r\nversion of integration in the Balkans.
