ICT USE TO EDUCATE AND PROTECT MINORS AGAINST SEXUAL VIOLENCE

The article aims to map the problem and structure the framework for its analysis. The articles explores the international organisations activities and recommendations regarding ICT use for minors' protection against sexual abuse. A number of paramount documents are briefly mentioned to give the start to the ICT potential studies. One of the most important steps within the present research activities framework is associated with the analysis of minors' perceptions regarding their safety on-line. Another important point is that the paper accumulates the data of surveys conducted across continents. Basing on the above materials the paper tries to shape preliminary recommendations on possible ICT tools and ICT -based activities to educate and protect minors against sexual abuse.
