Towards a theory of the passivating layer of anodically dissolving metals

The electric field strength in the passivating oxide layer, in terms of which ion-transfer coefficients are expressed, is calculated. Conditions of the electric field conjugation at the interfaces, which are necessary for the analysis of the passivating layer structure stability, are formulated.
