Выделены ключевые черты и особенности международного права в разный период, с возможностью увидеть генезис норм международного права и его соотношение с изменениями, происходившими в области международных отношений.

The article considers the main stages of the history of international law, the emergence and development of international law in the Ancient world, in the Middle Ages. The key features and peculiarities of international law in different periods are highlighted, with the opportunity to see the genesis of the norms of international law and its correlation with the changes that took place in the field of international relations.
