The article proves the importance of visualization in teaching foreign languages. Not only is visualization immensely helpful at the beginning of language studying, but also it is a very useful tool at all stages of educational process, as it activates attention and concentration, increases interest in learning, contributes to easier perception and comprehension, reduces tiredness, trains imagination and even causes positive effect on students' emotions. Moreover, visualization contributes to students' adaptation in another culture, as demonstrating pictures or videos, devoted to traditions and customs of the country or countries, where the language students currently study is spoken raises cultural awareness and helps students understand different way of life and mentality. The authors classify visualization kinds by the lessons' objectives and tasks, which involve usage of visual aids.
