Evaluation of navigation support characteristics of categorized aircraft approach and landing using global navigation satellite systems (Gnss)

Aircraft landing systems based on global navigation satellite systems (GNSS) signals, providing category I approach, are currently widely implemented in several countries. Research and development in the area of their improvement is being actively performed to support a category II and III approach, requiring higher accuracy and reliability characteristics. One of the most important areas for improving transport safety is improving the approach support systems using GNSS signals (increasing accuracy, availability, continuity and integrity under external influences, leading to disruption of the aircraft landing system). To assess the effectiveness of various signal processing algorithms, it is necessary to develop methods for assessing the characteristics of the navigation support for categorized aircraft landing using satellite radio navigation systems, considering the characteristics of spatial-temporal signal processing algorithms and the influence of their effectiveness on the errors of differential corrections in the ground based augmentation system (GBAS) and the errors in estimating pseu-doranges in the airborne GNSS receiver in conditions of external influences. © 2021, Univelt Inc.
