Intelligent system for digital substation control

The article presents solutions for the digitalization of electric power companies, which provide the collection, analysis, and visualization of data on products, systems, machines, and plants. The cloud platform of the Industrial Internet of Things, considered in the article, allows for the connection of any physical devices and sensors to the digital information space. The algorithms and out-of-the-box functions included in the platform make it possible to quickly build an equipment monitoring system and ensure its easy adaptation to the needs of electric power companies. By combining data from physical devices and corporate systems, electric power companies can gain an unprecedented level of transparency and control over all assets and processes. © 2021 Elsevier B.V.
