Nonlinear spinor fields in quantum cosmology

Summary: "A nonlinear spinor field in the Bianchi I type cosmological model is investigated in the framework of quantum geometrodynamics. Solutions to the Wheeler-DeWitt equation are obtained for two possible types of evolution of the cosmological model under consideration. If the spinor field phase is constant, the corresponding solution is shown to describe asymptotic isotropization. If the spinor field phase is a dynamic variable, the corresponding solution describes an asymptotically anisotropic cosmological model. A time dependence of the scalar factor obtained from WKB solution to the Wheeler-DeWitt equation coincides with the corresponding classical solution to the Einstein equations."
