Analysis of the Using of D2D Communications for the Ad Hoc Network Based on Subscriber Terminals

The article presents the results of an analysis of the potential capabilities of a network built using D2D communications as an ad hoc network. It is shown that with a sufficient density of devices, it can provide a high probability of connectivity. It is also shown that for a network with moving nodes, the probability of connectivity depends on time. Such a network can operate as a network with acceptable delays. Analytical expressions are obtained that relate the probability of connectivity for both a static network and a network with mobile nodes with its main parameters. © 2020, Springer Nature Switzerland AG.
