Social networks as a tool of politicaltechnologists of Islamic radicalism in workingwith the protest behavior of Russian youth

The technological advantage of the Internetover traditional sources of information is crucial for theglobal distribution of information content and the abilityto view it from various mobile devices. As a result, activeInternet users and subjects of virtual network relationsbecome objects of ideological manipulations, are exposedto the information influence of the radical elements ofsociety. This article presents a theoretical, methodologicaland empirical study of the problem identified, an analysisof the effectiveness of the use of social networks byIslamic radicals as a globally closed system of propagandaof their own views, the research question "What can resisttraditional Islam in the network of penetration of asociety of politicized dogmas of radicals?". Themethodological base of the research is represented byscientific works of foreign and domestic researchers in thefield of political science, philosophy, sociology andjournalism. The paper uses the methods of clusternetwork and content analysis, information andcommunication approach, which reveals the developmentof the structural-functional method in the field ofinterpersonal and intergroup interaction of information,taking into account the characteristics of networkcontacts as elements of the overall structure ofcommunications.
