The Concept of Smart Tourism Based on Museum Digitalization in Montenegro

In the modern world digitalization goes through all the spheres of human activities. People already got used to the cellphones, digital assistants, smart devices and other modern gadgets that have become a part of common life. The main purpose of their usage is to increase the level of peoples' living to the completely new level. One of the areas, where usage of new technologies is going rapidly, is tourism in all its manifestations and especially its new appearance that is called smart tourism. In this paper we consider digitalization in cultural tourism, that has to lead to smart tourism, on the example of Montenegrin museums. In this work the analysis of the current state of digital technologies usage in the framework of the Montenegrin museums is presented. Also it is described which prospects there are and what kinds of the approaches to the digitalization we already tried to use there. © 2020 IEEE.
