Method of experimental rotor dynamics research with gas-dynamic bearing

In this paper we present a method of experimental study of the dynamics of the rotor on gas-dynamic bearings. The idea of replacing the compressor and turbine impellers with their "dynamic analogues" to reduce the installation power and manufacturing costs is proposed. A rotary stand has been developed, which allows to carry out such tests. © 2018 Author(s).
