Историко-культурные реалии в художественном контексте (на материале романа Э. Мендосы «Город чудес»)

В центре внимания проблема интерпретации испанских историко-культурных реалий с позиции русскоязычного читателя. Анализ показывает, что целостное восприятие романа Э. Мендосы «Город чудес» зависит от степени понимания читателем отдельных культурно-значимых слов и понятий.

Historical and Cultural Realias within a Fictional Context (a case study of the novel “The City of Marvels” by E. Mendoza)

Author focuses on the problem of the interpretation of Spanish historical and cultural realias from a Russian-speaking reader’s point of view. The analysis shows that deep comprehension of the novel “The City of Marvels” by E. Mendoza depends on the proficient understanding of separate key words and notions which are culturally determined.
