ЛЕОНИД АНДРЕЕВ И МАКСИМ ГОРЬКИЙ: ВЗГЛЯД ИЗ XXI ВЕКА

Автор статьи доказывает, что отношения Андреева и Горького все годы их знакомства были отношениями равновеликих художников слова, бескомпромиссно отстаивающих свои убеждения. Известные по многим мемуарным материалам философские дискуссии писателей здесь рассматриваются в связи с их типологически схожими произведениями. Расстояние в сто и более лет позволяет делать вывод о справедливости именно андреевских взглядов на историю, на жизнь, на человека.

LEONID ANDREEV AND MAXIM GORKY: VIEW FROM XXI CENTURY

The author of this article proves that the relations between Andreev and Gorky during all years of their acquaintance were the relations of equal-sized artists of the word, that both uncompromisingly defended their beliefs. Philosophical debates of these two personalities, well known by numerous memoirs, are considered here in connection with their typologically similar artistic creation. The distance of a hundred and more years allows to draw a conclusion about the justice and validity of Andreev's views on history, on life, on man.
