IN SEARCH OF LITERARY CAFES IN PARIS

The article is devoted to the literary cafes in Paris.The city of Paris is well known for its literary cafes frequented by famous writers and artists. In 18th and 19th centuries Voltaire and Diderot, Hugo and Musset gathered at Procope cafe. Next to it, the Deux Magots café welcomed poets G. Apollinaire, L. Aragon, J. Prévert, philosophers J.-P. Sartre and S. De Beauvoir, painters P. Picasso and F. Léger. It is the Café de la Paix, which received a great deal of popular clients of whom E. Zola, O. Wilde, M.Proust, that housed the first meeting of the Goncourt Academy.
