The paper introduces the outocmes of applied academic practices among various stakeholders to the language education and service provision within contemporary multilingual world. The authors come from three diverse national contexts, ( three countries), represent two partner universities (RUDN and UJAP) that engage in national academic excellence projects and a professional interpreter with a universitye degree, and administrative experience of professional service quality assurance (APCI, NRPSI). The above mentioned specialists have united their thougths and experiences to discuss the role, which modern languages education (that among other thngs aims to foster quality of language service provision for the community) plas in enhancing the overall university academic excellence and responding to society development needs.
