POLYPHENOL COMPOUNDS IN VALENTINA AMARANTH LEAVES

The article presents data on silicon content in amaranth leaves and describes leaf polyphenolic composition. The polyphenol analysis included determination of flavonoids, simple polyphenols and hydroxybenzoic acids, hydroxycinnamic acids, and fractions of polymeric (condensed) polyphenols.
