SOIL DEFLATION IN URAL-CASPIAN STEPPES

The problem of soil deflation is one of the most important in changing soils of the UralCaspian region. Deflationary losses and the temp of recovery of the soil, the decrease of reserve and the content of humus in arable horizon have allowed identifying the least deflationary sustainable subtypes of soils. The rate of soil formation and losses due to deflation are represented by the ratio, the result of which is the index of erosion-deflationary resistance of the soil.
