ECO-SUSTAINABLE ARCHITECTURE

Eco-sustainable architecture emerged in the late 1960s. The 1973 oil crisis was the first to signal the need to break the dependence on fossil energy sources and start looking for more rational alternatives. Currently, sustainable architecture is trying to present a solution to the main problem -global warming. Key strategies include reducing energy consumption, switching to a carbon-free method of production and rational use of natural resources.
