BRANCHES OF BIOTECHNOLOGY

Biotechnology is a broad area of biology that involves living systems and organisms in product development, which opens up tremendous opportunities as well as big problems. This industry is so extensive that it has some branches, but they are all interconnected and each of them has a direct impact on each other. Anything that uses biological cells and living material including genes and gene sequences in technological applications qualifies as biotechnology.
