Role of the G. F. Shershenevich in the development of Russian jurisprudence

Gabriel Feliksovich Shershenevich made a significant contribution to civil and commercial law and the law-making in the Russian Empire. The article examines his personality, professional and political activities, the authors analyse the role of Gabriel Feliksovich in the development of domestic and world jurisprudence.
