The interaction of solitons in media with the saturable and threshold nonlinearity

The problem of nonlinear interaction of concentrated wave beams is considered. In addition to Kerr nonlinearity the question of the interaction of concentrated solutions is analyzed for the threshold and saturable nonlinearity. This interaction can be quite different from the collision of standard solitons. Under certain parameters, this interaction can lead to the complete destruction of the concentrated wave fields, as well as to their fusion into a solitary wave of high power. © 2019 IEEE.
