LANDSCAPES OF EUROPE

Europe is part of the world in the west of Eurasia. Its area is about 10 million km2 and there are different types of landscapes: arctic, subarctic, temperate and subtropical zones. It is bordered by the Arctic Ocean in the north, the Atlantic Ocean in the west and the Mediterranean Sea in the south. It comprises the westernmost part of Eurasia.
