The paper reveals the concept of industrial revolution, technological singularity, explored the processes of the birth of industrial revolutions of the XVIII and XX centuries, identified the basic laws of technological development based on exponential processes, considered one of the main trends of the fourth industrial revolution digital platforms as a means of innovative development of high-tech industries.
