В статье рассматриваются теоретические и эмпирические исследования использования мультимедийных средств обучения и новых технологий и их роль в повышении эффективно- сти учебного процесса.
Theoretical grounds of multimedia learning and empirical studies of how technology can fos- ter learning and learner’s development have been analyzed in the present paper. The multimedia learning theories set the principles of how multimedia learning environment can be created. The hypertext, a special database system, has been viewed initially as a medium for information retrieval rather than learning, but now its potential for education has been reconsidered. Hypertext offers var- ious ways of information presentation, fosters cognitive processes and is effective in various modes of learning - collaborative, autonomous, etc.
