Experimental Remodeling in Vitro of Transformed CD16(+)CD32(+)CD11b(+)Phenotype Subset of Neutrophilic Granulocytes in Patients with Atypical Chronic Bacterial Infection

It has been shown that there are subpopulations of neutrophilic granulocytes (NG), which have both activating, modulating, and suppressive regulatory influences. The aim of our study was to investigate the possibility of remodeling the transformed phenotype CD16(+)CD32(+)CD11b(+)NG subpopulation under the influence of regulatory peptide-glucosaminylmuramyl dipeptide (GMDP) and regulatory cytokine IFN gamma in vitro in patients with secondary immunodeficiency associated with atypical chronic sinusitis (CS) recurrent course. The studies demonstrate presence of transformed CD16(dim)CD32(mid)CD11b(br) NG phenotype in patients with secondary immunodeficiency associated with atypical persistent recurrent course CS.
