Urothelial Cancer: New Trends in the Diagnosis and Prediction of the Outcome of the Disease

The urothelial cancer (UC) is one of the leading pathologies among urological cancers. A significant part in the development of cancers is taken by molecular genetic disorders, whose research allows identifying new trends in diagnostics and prediction of the disease. The article has comprehensively analyzed modern native and foreign literature based on which the UC phenotype data, the results of the molecular pan-cancer analysis, new UC classification based on the investigations of the genetic profile of various forms of UC and a brief review of molecular genetic markers of early identification and prognosis of how UC will run are presented.
