Crystal-structural role of anions of Di(hydroxymethyl)phosphinic and Di(chloromethyl)phosphinic acids

The structural role of anions of substituted monophosphinic acids (di(hydroxymethyl)phosphinic (HL1) and di(chloromethyl)phosphinic (HL2)) was analyzed. Seven coordination modes of the ligands L1 and L2 in complexes with various metals (Na, Li, Ag, Sr, Ln, Cu) were characterized.
