ANALYSIS OF WAYS TO OPTIMIZE THE OPERATING CONDITIONS OF AN INTERNAL COMBUSTION ENGINE TO REDUCE ITS FUEL CONSUMPTION

The article analyzes current trends in reducing the fuel consumption of a light vehicle engine using the example of the Volkswagen brand LUPO 3L TDI with the ANY diesel engine. The processing of experimental data on the fuel consumption by the engine of the car has been carried out and the reserves for further potential reduction of fuel consumption during engine operation have been shown.
