Vulvar dermatoses in postmenopausal women

Lichen sclerosus (LS) is an uncommon chronic inflammatory disease that most commonly affects anogenital skin of postmenopausal women. Lichen sclerosus is a chronic, debilitating condition that may progress to cause significant physical and psychological complications. The disease calls for lifetime follow-up.The purpose: main objective of this article is to improve treatment outcomes of atrophic and dystrophic diseases of vulva in menopausal period.
