Mechanical efficiency and losses in a piston compressor for various working bodies
Equations are proposed for the mechanical efficiency and losses in a piston compressor operating with various working bodies. When such a compressor operates with ammonia and freons, the mechanical efficiency is higher than on working with air. © 2009 Springer Science+Business Media, Inc.
