Distribution of Averaged Local Velocities in an Open Turbulent Flow

The kinematic characteristics of three-dimensional turbulent open flow were studied in experiments with the use of an up-to-date measurement technique. Relationships between these characteristics and the vertical and horizontal distribution of flow velocity are shown.
