Optimizing the Cutting of Low-Temperature Steel by Simulation

The influence of the cutting conditions on cutting-tool life is investigated in the machining of 10 low-temperature steel. Multifactorial models of cutting-tool life are derived. The REZMET system for automated calculation of optimal cutting conditions is developed. © 2010 Allerton Press, Inc.
