Isobutanol dehydrogenation on perovskite type copper-containing bismuth vanadates with plasma treatments

The catalytic properties of plasma-chemically and thermally treated Bi4V2-2xCu2xO11-δ where х= 0.00-0.16 (BICUVOX) in the transformation of butanol-2 are studied. These data were compared with a catalytic activity of initial surface samples. It is shown that after plasma-chemical treatment in oxygen the main reaction for all samples is an alcohol dehydrogenation with 100% selectivity of aldehyde formation.
