Неблагоприятные варианты течения пограничных психических расстройств при гипотиреозе

174 patients with hypothyroidism and neurotic mental disorders were studied. A group of 31 cases were associated with psychomotor agitation, mood disorders and rapid development of paranoid ideation. All but two patients had most obvious premorbid histrionic, emotionally unstable or paranoid personality traits. The patients seemed to be less responding to psychotropic treatment in comparison to the rest of neurotic patients with hypothyroidism.
