Plasma accumulation in the HF supplemented mirror trap

The confinement of plasma bunches in the mirror trap with the combined barrier at ECR is experimentally studied. Under fulfilment of the phase autofocusing condition the reflection of electrons by the combined barrier is quasiadiabatic and plasma losses are determined by perpendicular diffusion. © 1975.
