THE ROLE OF ZINC IN WINTER WHEAT NUTRITION

The concentration of trace elements in plant tissues is small, but they are involved in many physiological and biochemical processes. Zinc is of great importance in nutrition: it affects yield, cellular metabolism, vitamin biosynthesis, phosphoric, carbohydrate, lipid metabolism, photosynthesis rate, has a positive effect on the assimilation of macronutrients. However, with an excessive amount of trace elements, they can harm the plant.
