Net weight of atrii cordis: an additional criterion of minor circle hypertension

This is a study of 514 corpses of sane males and females. The atrial net weight may be a useful tool in diagnosing minor circle hypertension immediately in the course of autopsy. The increase of atrial weight is related to the state of hypertension, the grade of compensation or decompensation, and to nosological origin and age.
