MO53-3 Treatment for older patients with genitourinary cancer at Kyushu Cancer Center

The number of older patients with genitourinary cancer is increasing. Such patients tend to experience comorbidities, and their physiological and cognitive functions may deteriorate compared with younger patients. Therefore, appropriate assessment should be performed to select a treatment strategy. At Kyushu Cancer Center, all new patients undergo G8 screening and when physicians require further assessment for specific patients, the latter undergo geriatric assessment by a physician certified in the field of geriatric medicine before treatment.
