A review of domestic and foreign publications is presented, reflecting the incidence of hemorrhagic complications in patients with chronic limb threatening ischemia, as well as the main causes of their occurrence after lower limb revascularization. The issue of choosing the most effective scales for assessing the risk of bleeding in such patient's remains poorly understood. There are no universal algorithms for the diagnosis and treatment of hemorrhagic complications in patients with chronic limb threatening ischemia after revascularization. In this connection, it is important to conduct new studies that would consider differentiated approaches to each individual patient, based not only on clinical, demographic and anamnestic data, but also on the features of the upcoming surgical intervention. © The Author(s) 2023.
