Road Traffic Accidents in the Arctic zone: General Issues, Statistics and Peculiarities

The presence and activity of people always leads to both positive and negative consequences. Road traffic accidents occupy an important place among the negative ones. The Arctic zone is characterized by very specific manifestations of road traffic accidents. This article considers the peculiarities of road traffic accidents in the Arctic. Conclusions are drawn both on the basis of the analysis of general statistical data and calculations of the numerical values of the Relative entropy of road safety systems (in relation to the representative regions of the Arctic Zone). © 2022 IEEE.
