The article discusses the key provisions of Federal Law No. 323-FZ dated 21.11.2011 “On the basics of public health protection in the Russian Federation”, defining the rights of citizens in the field of health protection, the procedure and methods of their implementation, as well as analyzes the responsibility of medical organizations for their violation and statistical data for 2020–2021. © 2022 by the Author(s).
