Bright luminescence of new low-melting copper(<scp>i</scp>) chlorides with compact organic cations

In this paper, we comprehensively studied two ACl/CuCl systems with dimethylammonium (DMA<jats:sup>+</jats:sup>) and acetamidinium (Ac<jats:sup>+</jats:sup>) organic cations and proved the formation of five new crystalline phases: DMACu<jats:sub>2</jats:sub>Cl<jats:sub>3</jats:sub>, DMACuCl<jats:sub>2</jats:sub>, DMA<jats:sub>4</jats:sub>[Cu<jats:sub>2</jats:sub>Cl<jats:sub>6</jats:sub>], DMA<jats:sub>3</jats:sub>CuCl<jats:sub>4</jats:sub>, and AcCuCl<jats:sub>2</jats:sub>.
