UUTISMIES" OR THE FINNISH MEDIA AND THE ETHICS OF A FINNISH JOURNALIST AS A SOCIO - CULTURAL PHENOMENON

The first journalistic code, the rules of etiquette for Finnish journalists, was drawn up in 1957. Statistics compiled by Media Audit Finland show that 93 % of Finnish adults read print or digital newspapers regularly. The print media market is very diverse for a country of only 5.5 million people: more than 200 national or regional newspapers are published at least once a week, and there are more than 4,000 interest magazines. It is known that the Finnish media model is different from the general European model, so in this article we will try to answer the question: who is the Finnish journalist in the modern context?
