The Role of Psammophytes in the Stabilization ofSand Slopes (Ecological Characteristics)

Vegetation self-restoring in sand pits is a long and difficult process. To prevent the movement of slopes of man-made landforms, it is necessary to thoroughly study their vegetation. Psammophilia species are studied as well adapted for substrates with fine granulometric composition, washing regime and a high degree of aeration. The features of life activity and the external appearance of such species are strongly affected by the ability of sand to move.
