The improvement of effectiveness of diagnosis and planning of orthodontic treatment in patients with malocclusion and soft tissue pathology using 3D dental reconstruction

The authors made a research on estimating of the effectiveness of the applying 3D reconstruction of the multi-layer spiral computer tomography for the rehabilitation of the patients with malocclusion and pathology of the soft tissues of oral cavity. According to the results, this program allows measuring of the existing volume of the bone around teeth and planning both orthodontic and surgical parts of the treatment.
