Atrioventricular Block in Dogs

The review discusses the atrioventricular conduction disorders in dogs. The clinical significance of this disease depends on the extent of the blockade. The last (third-degree AV block) is one of the most common causes of symptomatic bradycardia in dogs. The anatomical characteristics of the cardiac conduction system, the types of AV conduction disturbances and electrocardiographic features of this pathology were considered. An overview of the methods of treatment was made.
