The paper analyzes the Space Program and space activities in general of Nigeria - the largest economy in West Africa. The author addresses the objectives and purposes of this activity, its features, opportunities and achievements. She describes the main potential areas of possible Russian- Nigerian cooperation in the field of space exploration.
